Memory Lane

Over the past year, we have had the privilege of working with some amazing artists and dedicated individuals to bring about a transformation in the Patcham Nursing Home community. Through weekly art workshops with the residents and a collaborative effort to embark on a Patcham community build, our aim has been to enhance the living experience for the residents.
Our vision is to create a mini-town within the nursing home, featuring a health and wellbeing centre, a café and pub, and a potting shed. These spaces are designed to foster a sense of adventure and normality for the residents, providing them with opportunities for social interaction and engagement within the comfort of their home.

What sets this initiative apart is our commitment to consulting with the residents every step of the way. Their input and feedback have been invaluable in shaping the design and function of these spaces. Our goal is to create environments that not only meet the practical needs of the residents but also evoke a sense of reminiscence and comfort.

We are truly excited about the potential of this project and the positive impact it can have on the Patcham Nursing Home community. We believe that these spaces will not only enhance the physical environment but also contribute to the overall well-being and happiness of the residents.

We are eager to continue our work and bring this vision to life, and we are grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with Patcham Nursing Home on this meaningful endeavour.

Thank you to The Arts Council England for their support and partnership in this journey of transformation.
Whilst our build is commencing now, here are some pictures from our drive-through cinema night we held a few months ago.
