During the 2020 & 2021 lockdowns, we worked with an amazing charity called SIIBS. They exist to support people who grow up with or have grown up with a disabled brother or sister. It is the only UK charity representing the needs of over half a million young siblings and over one and a half million adult siblings.
We now regularly create a bespoke set of art boxes that are posted to 60 siblings across the UK.
The first art boxes were opened on international siblings day when Artpod artists led a creative session in zoom with all the children. Followed by winter art boxes making festive lanterns, in these sessions the children and young people made star garlands and 3d star lanterns to decorate their homes.
